Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our affliction,
 so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction,
with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

And here is my comfort, as well as the greatest comfort
I can offer to the loved ones of my departed friends:

...no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9

Lord, I pray that I will see all my brothers in heaven. 
A hundred years from now, we'll heartily agree that 
the early arrivals were the most blessed souls.
Thank you for allowing me to fly with these eagles,
to spend a season in the company
of such courageous patriots.
